Rocket Trajectories

Kwangmyongsong 3-2 Launch, 2012 December

NOTAM

2012 December 1, North Korea issued a Notice To Airmen (NOTAM) outlining the danger areas during the planned launch of the second Kwangmyongsong 3 satellite. There are some differences from the NOTAM that covered the earlier launch attempt but it implies that the launch trajectory is planned to be similar.

The major difference is the inclusion of an impact zone for the two halves of the payload fairing. The warnings for the 2012 April event did not cover it.

For comparison, the April data is further down the page.
